It is an oft-quoted truth in change management that "all change is loss, and all loss must be mourned." Whether responding to a loss or change affecting you and your team or initiating change yourself, recognizing the relationship between change and loss can help you lead more effectively. In this session, we will reflect on our own experiences of change and explore practices for guiding people through the grief, uncertainty, and new beginnings that accompany all change.
This month's Lab will be facilitated by Claire Brosius, Chief of Staff for HOPE International.
Claire Brosius serves on the Board of the Accord Network and as Chief of Staff for HOPE International. In her tenure at HOPE, she has helped to lead numerous change initiatives, including initiatives embedded in crisis management and strategic planning. She believes that the core of good change management is presence. She holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Wheaton College (IL) as well as certificates in change management, executive leadership, and governance.
